Lent is a 40-day season of spiritual engagement and renewal in which the Christian community anticipates celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. Whether you are only beginning to explore the claims of Jesus, or have been a Christian for quite some time, Lent is a perfect season to allow God to shape your life around the cross and empty tomb of Christ in fresh ways. Visit our Lent and Easter page for information on the ways Liberti is observing Lent this year!

The first step in becoming a member at Liberti Church is to attend an In-covenant class, an informal time to meet with church leaders to discuss Liberti’s mission and vision. If you attend Liberti and are considering becoming a member, please join us immediately following the service on Sunday to explore becoming In-covenant! The class will meet from 11AM-1PM at our Center City campus, and 12:30PM-2:30PM on the Main Line. Lunch will be provided. We hope to see you there! RSVP to Sarah

The women's retreat is a fun and relaxing weekend away where we connect more intimately with God and each other - you don't want to miss it! We'll be heading to Ocean City, NJ again from April 8 - 10, where Ruth Ann Batstone will be speaking to us on the topic of Forgiveness. The deadline to register for the retreat is March 16. If for some reason you are unable to attend, please consider donating to our scholarship fund! Visit our website, libertichurch.org/womensretreat for more details and to register!

In this weekend seminar, Chuck DeGroat will offer material from his newly-released book Wholeheartedness, inviting us to deal with the busyness and fragmentation we experience, while casting a wise vision for a whole, mature life in Christ. The event will take place March 4-5 and is $10 per person. Childcare will be available upon request for this event, and the seminar cost includes a copy of Chuck’s new book! Over the next month, members at Liberti have the opportunity to nominate others to serve as elders and deacons at Liberti, so if you’re a member, think and pray about who God’s calling to serve as an elder or deacon at our church!  To learn more and make a nomination, click here.  Deadline for nominations is March 20!
