Advent and Christmas are ripe seasons to begin or renew a life of Christian spiritual practices, and so we have put together an e-prayerbook featuring reflections and meditations, poetry and hymns, and a daily rhythm of Scripture meditation and prayer. Our Advent & Christmas Prayerbook is available to download in multiple formats here!

Have you wondered how to prioritize your financial commitments? Or how to be able to set a budget that you can keep? Plan to join us after the service on Sunday, December 4th, for an introductory class on personal finance. We will provide a foundational understanding of how to approach your finances with a view to good stewardship. Contact Scott for more information and sign up!

Liberti is partnering with CityTeam to provide Christmas gifts for disadvantaged children in the Chester and Delaware counties. If your family or home group is interested in helping out, we have the wish lists of 50 children whose parents are unable to buy them presents. Plan on budgeting a minimum of $50. If you’re interested, contact Barb Delp and she will send you a wish list. Bring unwrapped gifts to church by Dec. 4.

Mark your calendars for the night of Sunday December 18th! Invite a friend, and bake or bring a batch of cookies for an evening of Cookies & Carols! We’ll gather at the FBC building in Center City, and in Suburban Square on the Main Line at 6 PM to connect, share a holiday treat, and sing a few Christmas carols outdoors by candlelight. Don’t miss it! And don't forget to bring cookies or another holiday treat!

Our Liberti Church Community follows Jesus by sharing in the lives of people in situations of hardship and crisis.  On, Sunday December 11th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, we will host and share a feast, carol singing and prayer time celebration with our friends at the Norristown "CHOC" homeless shelter. There are needs and roles everyone can fill. Come join us to "taste and see that the Lord is good" at CHOC! To sign up contact Nathalie Wilson.

This Christmas season we will be giving away gift bags to our friends experiencing homelessness.  We will be collecting Hats, gloves, socks, and travel size toiletries from Sunday November 27th through December 18th. Please drop items off either in the center city lobby or during the after service coffee hour in the marked boxes at either campus. The gifted items will be distributed at our homeless ministry Emmanuel’s Christmas Eve Lunch on Saturday December 24th.

Small Fry, one of our mercy partners, is collecting Christmas gifts to give to the children that they serve. Come to coffee hour to pick up one of their wish lists, and then bring your wrapped gifts to church on December 11th. For more information, please email Alissa.
