This summer, our senior pastor, Jared Ayers, is on sabbatical. If you’re checking out Liberti and want to hear some of Jared’s preaching, you can check out Liberti’s podcast. While Jared is on sabbatical this summer, we’re excited to offer a slate of excellent guest preachers at Liberti!
Here’s who will be joining us this summer…
Rev. Jim Angehr- Founding & Sr. Pastor, Liberti Collingswood
The Angehr family loves living in Collingswood. Although Jim manages to look quite young if you see him from a distance, he’s served as a pastor for over ten years in both West Philadelphia and Texas. He met his wife, Emily, while they were both freshmen at Dartmouth College.
Jim’s hobbies include reading books, playing harmonica, listening to music, eating on Haddon Avenue, and snooty drinks. (Among other things, he considers himself to be the most knowledgeable Bruce Springsteen fan in Southern New Jersey.) Although he wants to be a pastor forever, he feels that he would also excel as the person who invents names for interior paint colors and men’s antiperspirant/deodorant varieties.
Jim takes responsibility for four children: Josiah, Micah, Jessie, and Clara.
Rev. Vito Baldini- Mercy Ministry Pastor, Liberti Church
Vito is a native Philadelphian who received his Bachelors of Science in Biblical Studies form Cairn University and his Masters of Divinity from Biblical Theological Seminary. Steve Huber hails from the village of New Bedford in Western PA which is officially in the middle of nowhere. Steve graduated from Wheaton College in ’92 and recently afterwards met his wife Christine. Since 1993, Steve and Christine have lived in or just outside the city of Philadelphia. Steve graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary in ’97 and moved to the Fairmount neighborhood to begin Liberti Church in the summer of 2002.
