Jared Ayers - Founder & Preaching Pastor
Jared received his BS from Lancaster Bible College, and his MDiv from Western Theological Seminary and Newbigin House of Studies. Jared and Monica moved to Philadelphia in 2008 to start the church, and love calling Philly home. They’ve been graced with two sons (Brennan and Kuyper) and a daughter (Rae Ann).
Meade Baker - Main Line Campus Pastor & Youth & Family Pastor
Meade is a graduate of Cairn University and holds an Mdiv degree from Biblical Theological Seminary. He has served as a pastor to youth and of worship in the Philadelphia area and in Wyoming for over 13 years. He and his wife Amy have two children Manny and Aderyn. Meade loves trail running, wood working, playing guitar and making then consuming delicious food.
Vito Baldini - Mercy Ministry Pastor
Vito is a native Philadelphian who received his Bachelors of Science in Biblical Studies form Cairn University and his Masters of Divinity from Biblical Theological Seminary. He has served in churches as an outreach director and has a vast amount of experience with urban ministry outreaches in Philadelphia. As the Director of Mercy Ministry, Vito is responsible for the development of mercy ministries partnerships, leadership training for mercy teams, he co-leads the deacon board, oversees the summer internship, and manages the Easter Outreach project. He loves to fly fish and camp with his wife.
Scott Jennings - Center City Campus Pastor
Scott is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College, having completed a Bachelors and Masters Degree there in theology and ministry. He, and his wife Lisa, moved to Philadelphia in 2009 as Liberti was just getting started, in order to assist in its early stages. They have had the joy of living here, and enjoy doing so with children: a son (Ethan) and a daughter (Rose). As the Community Life Pastor, Scott primarily works with the development of environments and systems that support the community life of Liberti (e.g. home groups, pastoral care). He also works with Liberti’s finance team, and other operational dynamics that support the church’s life.
Ken Fox - Communications & Connections Director
Graduating from Eastern University with a BA in Community Development, Ken began working with Liberti Church and the FTC Collaborative in 2015. With a diverse background growing up abroad, Ken works with the development team in pursuing and assisting in funding growth, day-to-day operations, volunteer engagement, and communications for the organization and Church. An admirer of the outdoors, he loves to mountain bike & rock climb.
Morgan Layton - Office Manager
Morgan is a Penn State alum with a degree in Psychology. She recently began working as Liberti’s Office Manager and is eager to grow in serving the church in this way. Morgan has a heart for people, pursuing community and growing in relationships with others. She also loves the outdoors, homemade projects, being active, cooking, eating sweets, and doing such activities with people.
Jon Covert - Music Director
Jon is a graduate of Temple University, receiving a BA in Broadcasting, Telecommunications & Mass Media, with a focus in Audio Engineering. With a background in contemporary church music and having played many services at his hometown church, Jon began leading music at the Center City campus during Summer 2016 and is now the Music Director for Liberti. He enjoys traveling and making music in his home studio.
Scott Carr Jr. - Worship Assistant, Seminary Intern
Hailing from South Jersey, Scott Carr, Jr. first came to Philadelphia to pursue his BA in Music Composition at Eastern University. Feeling a call to the ministry upon graduating Eastern, he enrolled in the Master of Divinity Apprenticeship Program at Calvin Theological Seminary. As part of his preparation for ministry, he serves as an intern at Liberti in order to learn from Liberti's ministry to Philadelphia and to assist in the continual expansion of the church's ministries. He currently serves Liberti as the Main Line Worship Assistant and with the Emmanuel Ministry.
