Coordinated Homeless Outreach Center (CHOC) -

1001 Sterigere St., Building 9, Norristown, PA.

Sunday afternoons at 4:30pm on chosen Sundays roughly once per month. Volunteers plan, organize and prepare a special feast with very nice dishes. They provide it to the residents, joining-in themselves in a family-type special meal celebration together where we meet and eat together as friends and equals.

Volunteers offer to pray with residents who sometimes request special prayer.  Prayer cards are distributed at tables with pens.  Residents are encouraged to write down their prayer requests.  Filled-in cards are collected and used by the sponsoring home groups to pray through together.  Some of the feasts are arranged to include many families with children helping to prepare and serve the food. (Families with children always are welcome.)

For more information, please contact Nathalie Wilson.

We would love for you to join us! If you have any questions or comments please contact Joe Bruni at joebruni76@gmail.com

Home Groups - Began the week of September 10
Signing up for a Home Group is open online! Our Groups will start-up the week of September 10. The primary way in which the community of Liberti Church connects together is in neighborhood-based groups called “home groups” that meet throughout the week where you can get to know and be known by others as you develop honest relationships and work out together what it means to follow Jesus. Go to libertichurch.org/homegroups to find a group near you.

Coffee Hour Change
We will be changing the time we do coffee hour on the Main Line! Starting in August we will be having coffee hour, beginning at 10 AM instead of after the service. This will help serve as a time for new visitors to have the opportunity get more connected with our congregation and help with not running into the afternoon lunch hours.

Serving at Liberti
With it being Summer, many families and students begin seasons of travel and transition. With many people away, these new changes bring restructure to Liberti’s Sunday volunteer teams. Whether it be setting up for Communion, playing a musical instrument, or bringing refreshments for Coffee Hour, it takes upwards of 50 volunteers each Sunday to make Liberti Church an inviting community for our friends and neighbors. If you are interested in trying out one of these serving opportunities, please contact Meade
